Limekiln Lake Campground was my final stop in the Adirondacks, and it was a memorable one. I stayed directly on the water with unobstructed views across the lake. The setting immediately reminded me of Squam Lake in New Hampshire. Forested hills surround the lake, development is minimal, and the atmosphere feels wonderfully remote.
